John worked extremely hard to fulfil our brief & also had great vision when considering possibilities. He understood our needs and ensured all snagging was carried out before completion. All builders are currently pushed to the limit with supplies and staffing - John managed this to the best of his ability and was always polite, helpful and friendly.

I didn't actually give the job to Smart Construction; but Aaron visited to inspect the job, and was extremely helpful, personable, and business like; he also did some research to work out the structure of my property. In the end, another firm was able to start earlier than Aaron thought they could - I'm very happy with progress; but think it's well worth speaking to Smart Construction, and wouldn't hesitate to contact them in future, if I need building work done (which I really really hope I don'tj

I approached Emanuel and his team for tiling of a bathroom wall. They were incredibly professional during the assessment and were very helpful in working around my limited budget. They showed excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, taking the time to sand down the cut tile edges. Most importantly, Emanuel and his team were very transparent with their labour and material costs with receipts for breakdown. This has won over my trust and I will surely enlist their expertise again soon.

David, Adam and the team they employed were very good. They talked through every aspect of the job beforehand and made the costs clear in the contract. The construction was of a high quality and all done efficiently. This construction was completed during lockdown and the team adapted and communicated well throughout the process. Everyone who worked on the job was polite and friendly and professional. During the construction there were minor changes needed which were accomodated well, even after completion.

Had a wall knocked down and new floor fitted by Phil. He was extremely careful not to cause too much mess and double checked before going ahead with any work. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family and use him for any future work!

Living 100 miles from the job, I needed a reliable contractor I felt I could trust. David and his team more than lived up to my expectations. He renovated a complete one bedroom flat from re wire, re plumb, new boiler bathroom, kitchen, flooring, fitted cupboards etc the list goes on. All work was carried out by qualified trades people and certificates of work issued where necessary. He started the job when he said he would, worked long hours and most importantly finished ON TIME, ON BUDGET.

Needed some internal work, including walls and chimney removal. Price was competitive and the work was excellent. Turned up on time, kept us informed and no hidden extras! Not only was the work first class he also took the hassle of building control, submitted the documents and when the inspector wanted an extra bracket for the chimney, he was there, as arranged 2 days later to fit it. If anyone is thinking of needing building work, make sure you include Kevin in your plans.
