Ace in every way, would highly recommend Paul. He made 2 rooms into 1 for us and matched coving and picture rail, build cabinets to match existing. You would never realise it was two rooms. Also completed a complete bathroom refit expertly and redecorated bedrooms. Saving up so I can get him back to get the rest of the house to look the same.

I took a punt on Dave as he didn't have any ratings. I am very glad I did. His work was excellent. He was super fast. Left the bathroom spotless. He was lovely to deal with. Quiet unassuming craftsman, totally reliable, turned up when he said he would and did a very good job. We asked him to install new toilet and basin in our cloakroom and to re- tile, he did a very good job and overcome problems as they arose without any drama. Also very good value. We were very pleased.

I was dubious about hiring people to do work in my house after one or two previous disasters, but Steve was brilliant. Friendly, reliable and reasonably priced for the job I wanted doing. I would have no hesitation in using him again or recommending him to anyone else.

Peter was very friendly and helpful when he came to quote on my extension work. He also quoted on my bathroom and this he has now completed to a very good standard. Daniel and Alex from Criteria have restored my faith in builders. They were very friendly (no hard sell) and helped to assess the job that I needed with very useful hints and tips. The one point I liked the most was the way they worked. Very neat and tidy and with attention to detail. I suppose I am fussy but I believe that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing properly. It has been great to find guys that actually seem to have pride in what they do and I would recommend them very highly.

Martin is a first rate carpenter and has done two jobs for us. One was board the loft and put shelves up there... perfect. The other was to build a fairly large summer house from scratch. Beautiful house.
