Although chimney repair work was done well enough, the subsequent roof repair work was very poor. After complaining and sending photos of the bad workmanship, they returned and did all the work they should have done first time as originally agreed. However, after chasing for 3 months, the promised insurance-backed guarantee was sent as a photo and the insurance company shown, Home Pro, confirmed they were not insured, so the “guarantee” is worthless. Poor workmanship, over-priced and misleading information.

Messaged to ask if it was something he could do or not. He apologised and said he'd review the video and come back to me...that was 24th March...now on 10th April and still not replied. Replaced the lead that had dropped off; fitted two cowls & in the process found an old broken tile (fixed that too). I then discussed an ongoing guttering issue I had (I was being given the run-around by another builder); he just did it! Ben, who headed up the work, is a great guy and very credible and professional.Their quote was higher than others, but i went with them because of Ben and his attitude when quoting. However, after the job, my view on his workers who repaired the roof, changed dramatically. I, as a complete novice, had put some alluminim roof repair tape over some cracked tiles...imagine my surprise when i found that the workers ended up doing that too.I think a tile must have cracked when they were fitting them..amateurs!
