I had a lot of work done today - curtain rails put up, a rather drastic painting and filling in job to be done in the main room where an old fashioned radiator had been taken out, etc. The painting job was of real concern to me as this is a newly refurbished flat with no clue left as to what shade was used on the walls, but the match is faultless. Following our move into our new house I needed to clear out the back garden, which looked overgrown and unappealing. Anthony and Ed carried out a comprehensive clearance of my garden from overgrown shrubbery, broken down flowerbed-edging and removing all the stumps. While there were a few setbacks, such as workers not showing up, a mini digger that was too big to get through the side gate and the skip arriving late, they resolved the issues admirably and finished the job on time. I am happy with the result.
