The price eventually quoted was deemed fair for the job. Given the age of the original post and therefore the weathered state of the brickwork, the finished repair looks great, the quality of the bricklaying and match of the bricks is just fine. He takes pride in what he does, and his attention to, and the care he takes with the smallest details, are not seen so often these days.
