The job was well done and the original estimate was reasonabkle. An unforeseen problem arose during the work. John of Home Solutions UK kept me informed and dealt with the matter at the least extra cost. In the end it was still a job well done at a reasonable price. Joe Matthews

Liam was a really nice guy he hung 5 doors and replaced all the skirting in 3 of our bedrooms. The work was carried out to a good standard. Liam was asked to have a look at our creaking stairs while he was there and was kind enough to fix this at the same time free of charge. Liam's number has been saved in my phone and he will be my first call should I need any form of joinery in the near future. Also left the place nice and tidy finished on time. Responded quickly to post and came at arranged time. Very friendly and professional with ideas and help. Quoted quickly and reasonably. Didn't go ahead with job for various reasons, but would definitely contact Joe again for future jobs.

They did a fabulous job and were also polite and very nice to deal with. We received very good advice on the choice of tiles and the job was completed on time and with the minimum of disruption. The roof looks really good and has made a huge difference to the look of our house. We would recommend them to anybody. Thanks very much!

Tom was able to come to us two days after we made contact and did an excellent job at cutting and bevelling our stone work top. His price was very reasonable. He did an excellent job and the stone worktops look like new. He was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend him to others and be very happy to hire him again.

We could not be happier with our new wall - it has totally transformed the look of our garden, and made it much safer and more secure. Sam and Luke were excellent from start to finish: arriving promptly on the days arranged, working tidily and efficiently, as well as being very patient and clear when answering all our queries. Brad built 3 brick pillars for us among other things but he was prompt on original attendance, prompt on quote, and what a top finish. I had initial doubts about using this website to find good tradesmen. But DIR Solutions have changed my mind. communication was excellent and they were able to complete the task and exceed my expectations. This was a very difficult task and will be calling on them regularly to do other jobs in the future. It is a pity that i am unable to post before and after photos of this job on this website. Thanks to this company, I can now access a portion of my garden that was totally swamped by errant thorn bushes..

They turned up exactly when they said they would (at 7pm so I didn't even have to interrupt my working day) worked quickly and efficiently in pouring down rain, and got rid of a load of unwanted rubble and wood, transforming a section of my garden. Great work, good value.

I chose SJS as Scott was very professional in his approach and was really thorough in making sure the job was done well, without mess, to time and budget. I have used other plasterers before but wouldn't recommend them but with Scott I would definitely use him again for future work and recommend him to friends and family.
